I decided I really need to make a start tidying my garden, it’s a total state just now.

I’ve started at the front, as I have a small flower bed next to the front gate, but I can’t be bothered with weeding and the like, so I’ve decided to go down the rock garden route.

I’ve put down some material that should stop the weeds growing through, and put gravel on top, with some larger rocks to give it a stepped appearance. The plant on the right is a Juniperus Squamata Blue Carpet, which is supposed to be a good ground-cover plant, so in the future if I get rid of the gravel it should still work to reduce the number of weeds, and to fill in the space on the left I put a Spiraea Japonica Goldflame in a pot I had lying about.

I think it looks not bad. Maybe I should become a gardener when the AI apocalypse hits.
